Rapathu utsavam was commenced in a very grand manner in Sri Parampara adheena Ahobila mutt, Sri Veeraraghavaswami temple at Tiruvallur since 13th January 2022. Every day, Perumal purappadu took place inside the temple premises along with the parayana Goshti. Goshti swamigal were felicitated by Srisadari during the purappadu.
ON DAY-3(15 January 2022): As it was on mattu pongal, Perumal gave darshan to cow and Purappadu took place along with cow decorated with kumkum and garland.
ON DAY-4(16 January 2022): Thirumanjanam was performed for Sri Raghavan along with His consorts Sridevi, Bhoodevi Nachiyars. During Thirumanjanam, Arulapaadi was sung in praise of Perumal (His greatness) by one of the Archakas and one of them served with Samaram, which was very pleasant to listen to.
Many astikas participated enthusiastically in Adhyayana utsavam, which was performed with religious fervour. Felicitation was done for Azhwar by adorning with parivattam and maalai mariyadhai from Divya Dampathis. All the assembled devotees got the blessings of Divya Dampathis and Acharyal.
