755th Thirunakshathra Mahothsavam of Swami Desikan was commenced in a grand manner at Thirukkannamangai Divya Desam. The 11-day utsavam commenced on 26th September 2022 and will be celebrated till 6th October 2022.
As part of the ongoing 755th Thirunakshathra Mahothsavam of Swami Desikan, Day 3 utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner today (Sep 28, 2022, Sri Subhakruth Varusha Purattasi Swathi).
Vishesha thirumanjanam was performed for Swami Desikan in the morning today at around 9 am. After thirumanjanam, Thirupallandu, Thirupalliezhuchi, Thiruppavai were recited, followed by Nachiyar Thirumozhi, Amrithasvahini of Desika Prabhandam, 11th Paddhathi in Paduka Sahasram, Sri Sthuthi and Dasavathara Sthothram were recited. This was followed by Sattrumurai and Thadiyaradhanam.
In the evening at around 5 pm, purappadu for Swami Desikan took place amidst Veda Parayanam and Arulicheyal (Divya Prabandham) Ghoshti. Meanwhile, Thiruvaimozhi Moondram Patthu was recited at the Sannidhi, 12, 13th Paddhadhies in Paduka Sahasram, Devanayaka Panchasath and Bhagavath Thyanasobanam and Moondram thiruvandhadhi was recited during the Purappadu. Today’s Utsavam concluded with Sattrumurai. Devotees had a blissful moment after the darshan of Swami Desikan in Muthangi.
