As a part of ongoing Utsavam, the 2nd day of the Swami Emperumanar Avathara Thirunakshatra Utsavam took place at Thiruvallikeni Sri Parthasarathy Perumal Temple on 13th April 2018 (Hevilambi panguni pooratathi). In the morning, Emperumanar was decorated beautifully with several abharanams like kaasu malai, pendants, chains and pearl fixed (muthangi) crown. He was adorned with jasmine, rose and thulasi garlands. Then He had purappadu on palanquin which had a mirror facing Swami Ramanujar. Sevarthis could get darshan of Swami from both sides. In the evening He had a great alangaram with a lot of abharanams and flower garlands and had Thiruveedhi purappadu on Simha vaahanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several astikas participated in the 1st day of the Utsavam and had the blessings of Swami Emperumanar.
