The Parthasarathy Temple is an 8th century Hindu Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, located at Triplicane, Chennai. It is one among the 108 divyadesams or holy abodes of Lord Vishnu. Lord Krishna is worshipped in the name ‘Parthasarathy’ in this temple, which means in Sanskrit, ‘charioteer of Arjuna’. Sri Andal Neerattu Utsavam took place in a grand manner at Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple, Thiruvallikeni Divyadesam. On January 9th 2016, Sri Andal had beautiful alangaram followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu in the maada veedhis of temple before Neerattu Utsavam. Later Neerattu Vaibhavam took place for Sri Andal followed by Kulakkarai Veedhi Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and Parayana Ghosti. Thousands of devotees thronged to have dharshan of Sri Andal and received the blessings.
