Koodarai Vellam Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Venkatesa Perumal Kovil, Perambur. On January 11th 2016, Sri Perumal along with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram and Koodarai Vellum akkaravadisal(sakkarai pongal) Samarpanai took place in 100 silver vessel followed by theertham, satari and prasadham was distributed. Thousands of devotees thronged to participate in the Utsavam and to have dharshan of Divyadampathis and received the blessings.
