Brahmotsavam commenced with enthusiasm and great happiness of awaited devotees across the world in Sri Varadharaja Perumal temple at Kanchipuram. Brahmotsavam commenced on 13th May 2022, Friday and on second day morning, Perumal gave darshan on Hamsavahanam. In the evening, Perumal gave darshan on Surya Prabhai vahanam.
When a devotee thinks of Kanchipuram Brahmotsavam, which immediately comes into the mind is GarudaSevai. Though the whole town is more active than usual from the last week, today, devotees thronged from many places across the country, even from other continents too, to have a glimpse of “Thevapperumal” on Garuda vahanam.
Perumal was mounted on Golden Garuda vahanam, which enhanced the beauty of Sathupadi. During Purappadu, Swami Vedantha Desikan was honoured by maalai mariyadhai from Thepperumal. HH Srivann Srimad Azhagiyasingar of Ahobilamutt, Sri Ranganatha Yatheendra Mahadesikan swami also graced which added grandeur to the utsavam and blessed the assemled devotees and His sishyas during Brahmotsavam.
