On successful completion of Emperumanar utsavam on May 5th 2022, Annual Brahmotsavam commenced with the same enthusiasm on the very next day 6th May 2022 with Dwajarohanam in Sri Vaidya Veeraraghavaswami temple at Tiruvallur.
On 4th May 2022, ankurarpanam was performed before commencing Chaitra Brahmotsavam. Senai Mudhalvar purappadu also took place, in order to supervise the arrangements for Brahmotsavam, in the thiruveedhi, where perumal purappadu would take place.
Day-1:
On 6th May 2022, Dwajarohanam took place with the flag hoisting of Garudaflag, in the early morning 5 a.m that day, followed by Golden Chapparam in the four mada streets. In the night, Perumal was mounted on Simha vahanam.
Day-2:
On 7th may 2022, in the morning, Perumal gave darshan to the devotees on Hamsa Vahanam. In the night, Perumal came in procession on Surya Prabhai.
Day-3:
On 8th May 2022, in the morning hours, Perumal came in Purappadu majestically on Garuda vahanam. In the morning, Perumal gave darshan on Periya thiruvadi, whereas, in the evening, Perumal was mounted on Siriya thiruvadi(Hanumantha vahanam).
