Theppotsavam was celebrated in a very grand manner in Sri Kamalavalli Nachiyar sannidhi at Uraiyur for the past ten days. As a conclusion part of utsavam, theerthavari was performed in temple tank. Purappadu of thayar took place in beautifully decorated “Pushpa Pallakku”. Everyday, Thayar sathupadi was different from the previous day, with varieties of jewels and different colourful silk sarees and went in procession to theppa mandapam and utsavam took place in a very fantastic manner.
On day-3, Thayar was adorned with blue silk saree, Pandian kondai, Ratna thirumangalyam, layered pendants, coral garland, kasu garland. On day-4, Thayar was dressed up in dark blue silksaree , muthukondai, layered pendants, gooseberry garland, kasu garland.
On 27th February 2022, theppotasavam theerthavari took place and Srisadari thirumanjanam was performed in the temple tank.
All the devotees assembled had a blissful darshan during these theppotsavam days.
