Thai Brahmotsavam commenced on 27 January 2022 with Dwajarohanam in Sri Vaidya Veera Raghavaswami temple at Tiruvallur. Alankaram, Aradhanam, Sattrumurai took place in the morning and in the evening. Perumal purappadu took place in the temple premises.
On 31 January 2022, (day-5): In the morning, perumal with His consorts Sridevi, bhoodevi nachiyars were adorned in Rathnangi Sevai on account of thai Amavasai and gave darshan to the devotees who thronged the temple in Asthanam.
In the evening, Perumal was adorned in Nachiyar thirukolam, dressed up in silk saree with chowrikondai and tanglings on it, with varieties of jewels and accessories and beautiful flower garlands, blessed the devotees
Later in the night, Perumal purappadu took place as a part of thai brahmotasavam. Purappadu took place with two big thirukodai and Sathupadi was performed in very beautiful combinations of silk garments, jewels and flower garlands. Perumal along with Veda Prabhanda Goshti, gave darshan to the devotees during Purappadu. Devotees hada blissful darshan during purappadu of Sri VeeraRaghavaswami.
