Dhanvanthri Homam was performed with religious fervour in Sri Sundaravalli thayar Samedha Sri Sundaravaradaraja perumal at Nallur, near thellaru, in thiruvannamalai district. Vishesha thirumanjanam was performed for Sri Sridevi, Bhoodevi, Sri Sundaravalli thayar, Sri SundaraVardaraja Perumal, Sri Dhanvanthri Perumal, Sri Chakrathazhwar, Sri Garudazhwar, Sri Hanuman. Thirumanjanam was performed with milk, curd, honey, tender coconut, sandal paste, turmeric. Vishesha Alankaram was performed for all the deities- Moolavar as well as utsavar.
Following thirumanjanam, Dhanvanthri Homam was performed using many herbal medicinal products. This Homam is conducted, praying Dhanvanthri Perumal for the welfare of all the living beings in the universe, and safeguard all against pandemic situation, and to bless all the devotees to have a healthy life.
Many devotees participated from other parts of the state apart from local village people. Theertha prasadam was distributed for all the assembled devotees.
