Adhyayana utsavam is being celebrated in a very grand manner in Sri Amaruviappan Sannidhi at Therezhundur. Rapathu utsavam commenced from 13th January 2022 and would be celebrated till 22nd January 2022.
On 21 January 2022, Thiruvaimozhi 9th pasurams were recited. In these pasurams also, like 8th pathu, Nammazhwar requests Sriman Narayanan to adopt him and also give him some kainkaryam.
Mangalasasanam is done for Thirunavai, Thirumozhikalam, Thirukatkarai, Thirupulingudi, varagunamagai, Thiruvaikundam and Thirukannapuram Divya desams.
In 9-10 pasurams, Sri Nammzhwar advices everyone to reach Thirukannapuram to surrender to Lord.
In 9-6-10 pasuram, He is quoting that he wanted to consume the entire blessings of katkaraiappan, whereas in the Perumal consumed him completely.
Interestingly, today’s sathupadi is mattru sathupadi, where, Sri Amaruviappan appeared as Sengamalavalli thayar and Sri Sengamalavalli thayar appeared like Perumal, to test Nammazhwar, whether he could identify them. But, astonishingly, Sri Nammazhwar reveals that, he could not be cheated, as he always see only Perumal’s thiruvadi and that he could identify Perumal without any difficulty by having darshan of His thiruvadi.
