On 13 January 2022, Vaikunta Ekadasi utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner in Sri Sowmya Damodara perumal, at Villivakkam. Perumal purappadu took place and Perumal with His consorts Sridevi, Bhoodevi gave darshan to the awaited devotees by His entry through the “sorka vaasal”. Alankaram was performed with beautiful garlands. Purappadu took place inside the temple premises. Devotees had a blissful darshan of Perumal on Vaikunta ekadasi.
