Thiru kalyana utsavam was performed in a very grand and enthusiastic manner in Sri Vaidya Veeragava Swami Devasthanam of Sri Ahobila Matam Adeena tradition Miras, at Tiruvallur. Perumal purappadu took place and Perumal with His consorts Sridevi, Bhoodevi and Andal came in Serthi purappadu and gave darshan to the awaited devotees. Purappadu of Andal and Azhwar took place inside the temple premises.
Thirukalyana maalai from the bride-“Soodikoduthal” was brought by the Archakar with reverence above his head and submitted to Perumal.
