“Thai Ther Bhoopathi thirunaal Utsavam,” commenced in a grand manner on 09 January 2022, with kodiyettram and maariyadhai by temple elephants, named Andal and Lakshmi in Sri Ranganathaswami temple at Srirangam.
On third day of Utsavam, (11 January 2022), Namperumal came in procession in Simha Vahanam and reached thiruvandhikappu mandapam with beautiful alankaram, with the respect done by the temple elephants by doing namaskaram. Perumal gave darshan to the devotees.
At 11 a.m, Perumal reached Karuthurai mandapam, opposite to Thayar Sannidhi and gavedarshan to the devotees till the evening.
In the evening, Perumal Purappadu took place with beautiful sathupadi on Silver Yaazhi Vahanam which looked majestic, reached thiruvandhikappu mandapam. Harathi was performed for perumal, with the respects performed by temple Elephants Lakshmi and Andal.
