Adhyayana utsavam commenced in a very grand manner in Sri Amaruviappan Sannidhi at Therezhundur. Pagal pathu utsavam is being celebrated from 3rd January 2022 and was celebrated for the past eight days in a grand manner. Perumal was adorned in different alankaram, with varieties of thiruvabharanams and beautiful maalai everyday.
On Day-8 (10 January 2022), Perumal appeared like thirunariyur nambi and Thirumangai Azhwar mangalasasanam was performed and Periya thirumozhi 5th and 6th pasurams were recited.
Thirumangai alwar got his panja smaskaram done by thirunariyur Perumal, hence Perumal had His Sangu chakram ready for the anugraham and blessed the sevarthis during thirumangai azhwar mangalasasanam.
Perumal Purappadu took place in the evening inside the temple premises. Azhwars were felicitated with maalai mariyadhai and SriSadari from Perumal. The devotees had a blissful darshan in all the days.
