Adhyayana utsavam commenced in a very grand manner in Sri Amaruviappan Sannidhi at Therezhundur. Pagal pathu utsavam is being celebrated from 3rd January 2022. Perumal was adorned in different alankaram, with varieties of thiruvabharanams, and beautiful kadambhamaalai everyday.
On Day-5,(07 January 2022); Perumal appeared like Sri Rangamannar, blessed the sevarthis during the Mangalasasanam performed by Thirumazhisai azhwar, Thirupanazhwar, Thondaradipodi azhwar, Madhurakavi azhwar. Perumal and all the Azhwars were assembled in a thirumamanimandapam inside the temple premises. Thiruchandhavirutham, Thirupalliyezhuchi, Thirumalai, Amalanathipiran, Kanninumsiruthambu pasurangal were recited. Azhwars were felicitated everyday with maalai mariyadhai and SriSadari from Perumal. Perumal Purappadu took place along with the Azhwars. Mudhalayiram sattrumurai was performed. The devotees had a blissful darshan and got the blessings of perumal and Azhwars.
