On 27 December 2021, Margazhi Hastham; Sri Koorathazhwar Masa thirunakshatram was celebrated in an enthusiastic manner in Sri Adhikesavaperumal temple At Sriperumpudur. Koorathazhwar was a great disciple and lost his eyes to safeguard Sri Ramanujar from the clutches of anti-Vaishnavites king regime. Thirumanjanam was performed followed by alankaram. Aradhanam was performed and arulicheyal took place and azhwar was felicitated by mariyadhai from Divyadampathis and Sri Ramanujacharyar. Devotees had a blissful darshan of Perumal and Acharyal.
