Unjal Utsavam commenced on 15 December 2021, in Sri Chakrapani Perumal temple at Kumbakonam. Unjal Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner for the past six days, in which Perumal along with Sri Sudarshanavalli, Sri Vijayavalli Thayar adorned decorated unjal on the all the days of the utsavam.
Alankaram for perumal was beautifully performed with stone studded kireedom, varieties of thiruvabharanams, chaturbhujam, thayar pendant in His chest, tri colour floral kadamba maalai(samandhi, thulasi and vrikshi), which looked marvelous.
