Karthikai last Sunday being celebrated in a very grand manner in Sri Krupa Samudra Perumal temple at Sirupuliyur. On this occasion, Perumal was mounted on Garudazhwar. Alankaram was performed aesthetically with varieties of thiruvabharanams, silk attires, big floral garlands, which enhanced the beauty of sathupadi. GarudaSEvai looked so majestic, and perumal came in thiruveedhi Purappadu.
Thirumanjanam was performed,as a part of Theerthavari utsavam, in which milk, curd, tender coconut, turmeric, sandal paste were used. Homam was also performed as it is last Sunday in the month of karthikai.
