Thirukarthikai Deepam was celebrated in a grand manner in Sri Rukmini thayar Sametha Sri Parthasarathy Perumal temple at Triplicane. Many lit earthen lamps were decorated in all the places inside the temple premises during the festival.
Tirukarthikai Deepam Sokkappanai- dried Palm leaves were bundled and lit by fire during the festival in front of the temple, in the presence of Sri Perumal during His purappadu to witness this event.
