Thirukarthikai Deepam (Sarvalaya Deepam) was celebrated in a grand manner in Sri Kesava Perumal temple at Mylapore. Many lit earthen lamps were decorated in all the places inside the temple premises during the festival.
Tirukarthikai Deepam Sokkappanai- dried Palm leaves were bundled and lit by fire during the festival in front of the temple, in the presence of Sri Perumal during His purappadu to witness this event.
