On the occasion of Deepavali, which coincided on Swathi Nakshatram, Vishesha Thirumanjanam was performed deities in Sri Varadharaja Perumal temple at Injimedu. Alankaram, Aradhanam was performed and theertha prasadam was distributed to the assembled devotees. Swathi Homam was also performed in Sri Narasimhar Sannidhi yesterday.
Deepavali was celebrated by lighting flower pots and chakras in the temple premises.
