On 16.12.2020 the second day of Pagal pathu utsavamNamperumal came in purappadu wearing a sayya muthu kondai that is a slanted crown of pearls, holding a golden parrot and having an abhaya hastham of diamonds. He wore a series of chains and strings of corals and pearls with the pendant of panchayudham holding pride of place.Araiyar seva took place as scheduled but devotees were upset as the entry for the same was restricted. Devotees could enjoy Namperumal at close quarters at Arjuna mandapam though theertham srisathari was not available .
Because of covid the upa sannidhis are closed so there is no Tiruppavai display at Paramapadanathan sannidhi.
