On 9th November 2018 (Srivilambi Aippasi Anusham), Vellikizhamai purappadu for Sri Perundevi Thayar took place grandly at Sri Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram. Thayar adorned orange and red silk vasthram and was decorated with several ornaments and tricolor garland of kanakambaram, jasmine and thulasi. Several astikas took part in the purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Perundevi Thayar.
