The 9th day of Thirupavithrotsavam was celebrated grandly on 30th August,2018 (Aavani Revathi) at Sri Vidhya Rajagopalaswamy temple, Mannargudi. On that evening, the purappadu of Sri Rajagopalan took place on tholukkiniyan around 7 pm. For the procession, Perumal had great alankaram in orange vasthram and several colourful pavithrams. Many asthikas participated and received the blessings of Perumal.
