On 28th August 2018 (SriVilambi Aavani Pooratathi), the 7th day of the Pavithrotsavam was celebrated well at Sri Vanamamalai perumal Temple, Nanguneri. On the occasion of Pavithrotsavam, special homam was performed in the Temple in the presence of Sri Deivanayaka Perumal along with His consorts, Sri Vanamangai Thayar and Andal, decorated beautifully with colourful pavithrams. In the evening, Perumal and Thayar had Thiruveedhi purappadu. Several astikas participated in the Pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of the Divyadampathis.
