On 28th April 2018(SriVilambi Chithirai Vishagam), the 10th day of the Sri Narasimha Jayanthi was celebrated at Chembur Sri Ahobila Mutt, Mumbai. In the evening, Perumal was adorned with yellow silk vasthram with blue border. He had an auspicious alangaram with ornaments like kaasu malai, several pendants, chains and garlands of rose, jasmine, sevvanthi. Then perumal had purappadu on Garuda vaahanam.
On the morning of the previous day, 27th March (Chithirai Swathi), Utsavar Sri PrahaladaVaradan had a great alangaram and His consorts were adorned with blue silk saree and had beautiful jewels and flowers. Perumal had a pink colored pearl fixed crown and looked like a king. After alangaram, They gave darshan to the astikas in Kannadi arai. Then purappadu took place on the ratham. Several astikas participated in the Sri Narasimha Jayanthi and had the bleesings of Perumal and Thayars.
