As a part of ongoing Panguni Brahmotsavam, the 8th day of the Utsavam was celebrated auspiciously on March 26, 2018 (Hevilambi Varusham panguni punarpoosa nakshatram) in Sri Prasanna Venkatesh Perumal Temple, Madurai. On this occasion Perumal gave beautiful darshan in Vennai Thazhi Krishnan Thirukolam with pot of butter in hand. He adorned blue and pink color vasthram and He was decorated beautifully with abharanams. In the evening Perumal had Ashwa vahanam purappadu. Ashwa vahanam procession denotes one of his most popular and well received avatars as kalki- a good samaritan who fights with evil and protects the good things in the kaliyuga. Several astikas participated in the Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of Sri Prasanna Venkatesh Perumal.
