Yesterday, 25 January 2018, Hevilambi Varusha Thai Bharani; Is the day 4 of Namperumal Boopathi Thirunal Utsavam at Srirangam, In the early morning Sri NamPerumal started his purappadu from kannadi arai and reaches Vahana Mandapam. From there Sri Namperumal Thiruveedhi Purappadu on Irattai Prabhai took place in Uthira Streets of Srirangam and return back to Vahana Mandapam.
In the evening around 6.00 p.m, Sri Namperumal in Garuda Vahanam started his purappadu to Sri Ranganathaswami Temple from veereswaram Asthana Mandapam. The procession goes via the Ul thiruveedhi ( Uthira Streets) and reaches the vahana mandapam Lot of Srivaishanavas took part in the Prabhandam and Veda gosthi . Several Bhaagavathas took part in the Day 4 Garuda Sevai Purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Namperumal.
