On 15th September 2017 (Hevilambi Avani Punarpoosam), Shukra Vaaram purappadu took place for Sri Saranayaki Thayar at Sri Saranathan Temple,Thirucherai. Thayar was was beautifully decorated with jewelleries and garlands. On the previous day (September 14, 2017), Uriyadi Utsavam was celebrated following Sri Jayanthi Utsavam. Sri Saranathan in beautiful alankaram as Sri Krishnar witnessed the utsavam.
