Pushpayagam was performed at the Thiruvinnagar Oppiliappan Kovil on September 6, 2017 (Hevilambi Avani Sadayam) on a grand note. Sri Boomadevi thayar and Sri Oppliappan Perumal along with Swami Desikan enjoyed the pushpayagam with fresh and beautiful flowers. Several astikas took part in the mahotsavam and received the blessings of Boomi devi nayaka sametha Sri Oppliappan as well as Swami Desikan.
