On August 6, 2017, Hevilambi Aadi Uthiradam, Sri Alavandar Thirunakshatram Utsavam was celebrated grandly at Thiruvallur Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple. Mada veedi purappadu took place for Sri Vaidhya Veraraghava Swamy and Alavandar followed by a grand saatrumarai. Several devotees participated in the utsavam and received the blessings the Divya Dampathis and the Acharya.
