On June 9, 2017 (Hevilambi Vaikasi Pournami), Kadaivelli Thayar Purappadu took place grandly at Sri Azhagiya Singaperumal Temple, Thiruvellukai Divya Desam. On this occasion, Sri Amruthavalli Thayar had purappadu inside the temple premises in the evening. Thayar gave scintillating darshan in oonjal sevai. Thereafter, Thayar gave darshan in the Kannadi Arai. Many devotees took part in the utsavam and received theertham, Sri Sadari, prasadam and the blessings of Thayar.
