On, 14 September 2016, Durmukhi Varusha Avani Sravanam; Sravana Purappadu took place in grand manner at Sri Vanamamamalai Perumal Temple, Nanguneri, Thirunelveli. In the morning,Deivanaayaga Perumal with his consorts asthanam at mandapam. In the evening perumal Ul purappadu in garuda Vahanam. . Lot of astikas took part in the Sravana purappadu and had the blessings of Divya Dampathis.
