Brahmotsavam commenced in a grand manner at Sirupuliyur Sri Krupasamudra Perumal Temple. On June 6th 2016, in the morning Dwajarohanam was performed and in the evening Sri Perumal with His Consorts had Thiruveethi Purappadu on Indhira Vimanam. On the Day 2 Utsavam, in the morning Sri Perumal had Kalinganardhana Alangaram followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu on Pallakku. Later in the evening Purappadu took place on Suriya Prabhai Vahanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place in the midst of ghosti parayanam. Many devotees participated in the Utsavam and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
