Dhavanotsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Madhuranthakam Yeri Kaatha Ramar Kovil. The Kodandaramaswamy temple has two sets of utsavar archa-vigrahas of the presiding deity and His consort, and Lakshmana. While one deity is named Rama, the other is known as Karunakaran. On February 18th 2016, in the morning Thirumanjanam was performed for Sri Karunakaran Perumal along with His Consorts and Sri Sita followed by Asthanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
