In a grand feat, after almost 50 years, Margazhi Theppotsavam is taking place at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple, Thiruvallur Divyadesam. After several years, Hruthapanasani pushkarani is brimming with water as if it is eagerly waiting for Veeraraghava Perumal to adorn its waters. The utsavam commenced on January 7th 2016. In the evening of Day 1, Perumal proceeded from Kovil to the Hruthapanasani pushkarani and Theppam was perfomed in the presence of HH 46th Srimath Azhagiyasingar, Srivan Sathakopa Sri Ranganatha Yathindra Maha Desikan. After Theppam, Perumal had purappadu back to the temple through the mada veedhis. Thousands of devotees thronged in the Theppotsavam and received the blessings of Srimad Azhagiyasingar and Divyadampathis. Devotees may take this opportunity to have this rare seva at Thiruvallur.
