Vaikunda Ekadasi, the most holy day of supreme significance for all Sri Vaishnavaites, was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Venugopala Krishnaswamy Temple, Malleswaram. On December 21st 2015, in the presence of HH Sri Yadugiri Yathiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar of Sri Yathiraja Mutt, Sri Perumal and Namazhwar went around Prakaram and Perumal gave dharshan to Namazhwar. Later Perumal entered through paramapada vasal and blessed the devotees. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place followed by Purappadu. Later Theertham, Satari and Prasadham was distributed to the devotees. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis and Azhwar.
