Thiruadhyayana Utsavam commenced with Pagal Pathu in a grand manner at Sri Soundararaja Perumal Temple, Nagapattinam Divyadesam. On December 11th 2015, Sri Soundararaja Perumal had beautiful alangaram followed by Ul purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with Parayana Ghosti. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
Sri Soundararaja Perumal Temple also named as ThiruNagai is situated in the Nagapattinam and also one of the 108 Divyadesam Temples. The Presiding Deity of the temple is Sri Soundararaja Perumal. The Goddess Soundaravalli, the consort of Lord Soundararaja Perumal is housed in a separate shrine inside the temple.
