Thirukarthigai Deepa Utsavam was grandly celebrated at Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple, Perambur. On this occasion, in the evening Perumal along with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram followed by Purappadu. Later Thirukarthigai Deepam was lit in all the sannadhis of temple and witnessed the burning of Sokkapanai. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
