The Manmadha Varusha Aippasi Sukravara Purappadu took place at Sri Nachiyar Kovil on 30th October 2015. On this Occasion, Parayana Ghosti was conducted followed by Purappadu. Many devotees participated and had the blessings of Divyadampathis. Later Prasadham was distributed to the devoteesLocated 70 Kms South West of Madurai is Srivilliputhur, the birthplace of Andal and considered to be among the holiest of the 108 Divya Desams. This is the birthplace of not one but two Azhvaars and a father-daughter one at that- PeriAzhvaar and Andal. This sthalam is also called as “Puttoor Pudhuvai”. This temple is situated in Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu.
