On 26th August 2015, Manmatha Varusha Aavani Pooradam, 7th day of Brahmotsavam was celebrated at Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Perumal Temple, Pondicherry. Churnotsavam was held in the evening and at night hayagreevar in mangalagiri along with Sri yoganandha nrusiman..Brahmotsava in the temple is believed to be conducted by Lord Bramha himself with all other parjanya devathaas .The utsava beram of swami is brought out in procession in various vahanams such as sesha, garuda, hanumantha, horse, elephant etc….
Lord Mahavishnu is described to be seated in DHARMADHI PEETAM in Sri vaikundam,His adobe with his consorts Sridevi, Bhudevi and Neela devi. Being seated on this peetam he rules over the universe conducting his Leela vibhoothi in strict adherence to dictates of darmasaasthras. In only one or two temples of our holy country (few) have this Dharmadhi peetamas vahanam. Placed in which the processional diety comes on procession. As he distributes the dharma equally to one and all jeevans in Srivaikundam, the swami in archa form too loves to grand any boon to bless his devotees within the limits of dharma.
