On 4 October 2014, Jaya varusha Purattasi Sravanam; Thirumaliruncholai Sri kallazhagar temple Purattasi Garuda Sevai took place in grand manner. In the evening ,Sri Kallazhagar came out of the temple in Garuda vahanam. Many Bhaagavathas thronged the temple to get darshan of Sri Kallazhagar in Garuda Sevai. Lot of astikas took part in the Purattasi Garuda Sevai and had the blessings of Perumal.
