On the last day of Mahapoornahuthi, lot of srivaishnavasa took part in veda parayana goshti. Lot of astikas took part in the pavithrotsavam and had the blessing s of Divyadampatis
Sri Neelamanicka Perumal Temple situated in Siruseri Village, 20kms from Thiruvanmiyur, 2kms from SIPCOT, (Satellite town). The temple is more than 500 years old and the Perumal is with Sridevi and Bhoodevi Nachiar. The Perumal as per Silpa ShastrAs is Sthana Bhoga PerumAl, endowing those who adore him with all Bhogams. The traditional belief is that the relieves those with Naga Dhosham. Srimad Thirukudanthai Andavan, Periasramam Srimad Andavan Asramam has offered Mangalasasanam to this Perumal, while he visited Siruseri-Kolathur Agraharam.
