As part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam at Sri Sthalasayana Perumal Divya Desam, Thirukadalmallai, Thiruther utsavam took place on May 12, 2014. This marked the seventh day of the Chitra Brahmotsavam. On the previous day, purappadu took place on Yanai vahanam. Day 1 of the utsavam was celebrated on May 6, 2014. On the following day, Yali vahana purappadu took place. Thereafter, Vidayatri Utsavam will take place for 3 days followed by Pushpa Pallaku purappadu on May 19, 2014.
