As part of the ongoing Tirupaliyoda Tirunal, On 6 March 2014, NamPerumal came on Karpagavrikshavahanam in the evening . After being in Rama Rao Mandapam for the day He left the place at 6.30p.m. in Karpaga vrikshavahanam. As we waited outside Ranga Ranga gopuram by 7.30p.m. the two umbrellas were sighted. As we anxiously craned our necks the golden canopy of the wish fulfiliing tree was seen. Below this was the golden prabhai and the third umbrella was formed by AdiSeha twining around the tree. Then He came in our view moving closer and closer to us. His crown of pearls, the makarakundalas, the Kasturi Tilakam, the blue Kausthbham and series of pendants reaching upto His Tiruvadis and the long chain of goldcoins (kasu malai) which kept swinging as He moved mesmerised us. Compared to the royal blue gown-like robe He wore in the morning the simple cotton veshti highlighted the jewellery. Captivated by His Beauty we forgot to make our wish under the karpagavriksham but when we belong to Him is there a need to ask for any boons?
