On, 6 February 2014, Vijaya Varusha Thai Aswini; is the day of Rathasapthami and Perumal purappadu happens at Sri Neervanna Perumal Temple at Thiruneermalai, Chennai. On different times of the day ,Sri Ranganatha Perumal had purappadu on Surya Prabhai, Kudhirai Vahanam, Sesha Vahanam, Simma Vahanam, Hanumantha Vahanam, Garuda Vahanam and Chandra Prabhai. Lot of Astikas took part in the Perumal thiruveedhi Purappadu and had the blessings of Perumal.
