As part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam and Swami Desikan Utsavam at Sri Oppiliappan Sannidhi, Kumbakonam, Yesterday , October 14th, 2013, Sri Oppiliappan Perumal blessed the devotees from Pushpa Yaagam. It is Day 10 of the ongoing Brahmotsavam. On the last day of the Brahmotsavam Moolavar thirumanjanam took place in the morning. In the evening, Annapavadai Utsavam and Pushpa Yaagam Satrumurai, later Saptavaranam thiruveedhi Purappadu took place in the Sri Oppiliappan Kovil.
The Annual Brahmotsavam (Purattasi Peruvizha) for Sri Bhoomi Devi Sametha Sri Oppiliappan was celebrated grandly at Sri Oppliappan Koil in Kumbakkonam, the 10 day Brahmotsavam commenced on the 4th of October and concludes on the 14th of October 2013.
