As part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam and Swami Desikan Utsavam at Sri Oppiliappan Sannidhi, Kumbakonam, today evening, (October 9th 2013), Sri Bhoomi Devi thayar blessed the devotees as Gaja Lakshmi and Sri Oppiliappan blessed the devotees from Hanumantha Vahanam. Today is Day 5 of the utsavam.
The Annual Brahmotsavam (Purattasi Peruvizha) for Sri Bhoomi Devi Sametha Sri Oppiliappan is being celebrated grandly at Sri Oppliappan Koil in Kumbakkonam, the 10 day Brahmotsavam commenced on the 4th of October and concludes on the 14th of October 2013.
