Sri Kariyamanicka Perumal temple at Purisai village in Kanchipuram district closer to Thirumalpur and Kooram village situated on the Kanchipuram-Arakkonam route. This temple is surrounded by Madhura Mangalam, Acharyan Embar swamy’s birth place, Thakkolam, Perambakkam and Narasingapuram.
The renovation work and the Balalayam commenced in the year 2011 by Pushpavalli Trust, Chennai, founded by P.S. Rangachari, a native of this village with the blessings of Tirumala Tirupati Sri Periyakoil Kelviyappan Sadagopa Ramanuja Jeer Swamy.
The maha Samprokshanam took place at Purasai Sri Kariyamanicka Perumal templeon July 14th 2013. Lot of Bhaagavathas from the nearby village took part in the grand occasion. The purisai is well known to sampradaya people as of Stalwart Sri Purisai Krishnamachariar comes from this village.

Nice to see the photos and update on Purisai Sri Kariamanicka perumal Samprokshanai got concluded on 14th July 2013.
In fact i had been blessed by The GOD and with the Blessings of Sri Achariyan Sri Periya Jeeyar At Thirupathi and also with Sri Jeer of Melkottai who came to the function i had the oppurtuinity to witness the said function and i was immensely plased to see the photos and i am with your consent is sharing the photos with my family who missed the said occasion and take god/goddess blessings.

I also could not have darshan of perumal 2 – 3 times we went. Atlast I went last time an year back we located the temple . Now only by perumals grace the number is known from you. I spoke to bhattar.
